Kenyan singer Arrow Bwoy has responded to online criticism after a section of fans linked him to another woman shortly after news of his breakup with long-time partner Nadia Mukami emerged.

The singer found himself trending after sharing photos alongside an Ethiopian woman on social media, prompting speculation among fans who questioned whether he had already moved on following his split from Nadia.

However, Arrow Bwoy, on Thursday, May 21, 2026, through his Instagram account, dismissed the claims and criticised Kenyans for what he described as unnecessary gossip and assumptions.

Nadia’s breakup announcement

Arrow Bwoy’s response comes days after Nadia, through her Instagram account, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, issued a statement announcing their separation.

In the break-up statement, Nadia outlined the emotional toll of the past 18 months, during which the couple had been locked in an on-and-off relationship.

In the emotionally charged post titled “POSTPARTUM & HEARTBREAK,” Nadia confessed that making the final decision to end the relationship was incredibly painful, particularly given their shared responsibilities as parents.

“Over the past few months, I made the difficult decision to go separate ways with my partner,” Nadia wrote.

“This has not been an easy journey for either of us, especially because we were not only partners in life, but also parents to young children who mean the world to us.”

The pop star, who has always been open about her desire for a traditional family dynamic, admitted that she exhaustion had finally taken over.

“I have hoped and prayed that things would have been different for the last 1 and half years as we have been on and off,” she revealed.

“Being a lady that always wanted family; I fought soo hard but I guess I lost.”

Nadia laid bare the immense mental and physical burden she has carried behind the scenes, contrasting her glamorous public image with the reality of her domestic struggles.

She detailed the agonising reality of navigating early motherhood alongside a devastating breakup.

“As a mother, this transition has affected me deeply emotionally, mentally, and personally,” she explained.

“Balancing motherhood, healing, work, and public life while trying to remain strong for my children has been one of the hardest experiences I have faced.”
