Visually impaired gospel singer Denno Music has shared an emotional and inspirational message following Arsenal’s long-awaited Premier League title victory, which ended a 22-year drought.

In his reflective post shared on Facebook on Thursday, May 21, 2026, the singer used Arsenal’s triumph as an example of perseverance, patience and faith, comparing the football club’s difficult journey to the struggles many people face in life while waiting for breakthroughs and answered prayers.

Denno noted that there are people who were born, went through school and even graduated from university without ever witnessing Arsenal lift the Premier League trophy, highlighting how long supporters had waited for the moment.

According to him, Arsenal fans survived through years of disappointment, online ridicule and endless jokes from rival supporters, with many holding on to hope despite constant failures and mockery every season.

“There are people who were born, went to kindergarten, finished primary school, joined university, graduated… and had never seen Arsenal lift the Premier League trophy. 😂⚽ For 22 years, Arsenal fans survived on faith, motivational quotes, and “next season.” Every year came with memes. Every year came with disappointment. People laughed until it became normal. Some supporters even started celebrating corner kicks because trophies were nowhere to be seen,” he wrote.

The singer humorously observed that some Arsenal supporters had even reached a point where they celebrated corner kicks because trophies had become so rare for the club.

However, he said the story has now changed after the club was finally crowned champions again following 22 difficult years.

“But today the story has changed. After 22 long years, Arsenal are champions again. ❤️🏆 And honestly, that is how life can be sometimes,” Bien wrote.

Denno further explained that Arsenal’s journey reflects real-life situations where people experience delays in dreams, prayers and success, causing others to assume their stories are over simply because their breakthroughs are taking too long.

Thierry Henry era

He recalled supporting Arsenal during the famous Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Gilberto Silva era, saying those were the days when fans proudly wore Arsenal jerseys everywhere because the team was dominant and successful.

According to him, when difficult seasons later arrived, many people still quietly believed Arsenal was a great club with potential, but very few wanted to publicly associate themselves with the struggles the team was facing.

“There are seasons where nothing seems to move. Prayers delay. Dreams delay. Breakthrough delays. People begin to think your story is finished just because your miracle is taking time. I remember supporting Arsenal during the Thierry Henry, Robert Pires and Gilberto Silva days. In those days people proudly wore Arsenal jerseys everywhere because the club was winning and shining. But when difficult seasons came, something interesting happened,” he added.

The gospel singer said this also happens in life, where people may believe in someone’s potential privately but avoid standing with them publicly during difficult seasons because many people prefer results over process.

He added that once success finally comes, the same people suddenly claim they always believed in you from the beginning.

“Many people still knew Arsenal was a big club. They still knew the quality was there. They still believed deep down that one day the team would rise again… But very few wanted to fully associate themselves with the struggle. That is life too,” he wrote.

Using biblical references, Denno encouraged people not to lose hope during delayed seasons in life, quoting Ecclesiastes 3:11, which says that God makes everything beautiful in His own time.

He also referenced Galatians 6:9 while urging people not to grow weary while doing good, saying the harvest eventually comes for those who do not give up.

The singer went on to compare Arsenal’s victory to several biblical stories, including Job, Joseph and Lazarus, saying each of them experienced painful delays before eventual restoration and victory.

“Sometimes people believe in your potential quietly, but they fear standing with you publicly when your season looks difficult. Not because they completely doubt you… But because many people love results more than process,” he added.
