Pastor Kanyari pens touching Mother’s Day message to mum Prophetess Lucy Nduta
Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari has penned a touching Mother’s Day tribute to his mother, Prophetess Lucy Nduta, celebrating her sacrifices, prayers and unwavering support throughout his life.
In a Facebook message shared on Sunday, May 10, 2026, Kanyari praised his mother for standing by him through every season of life and helping shape the person he has become today.

The televangelist described Prophetess Lucy Nduta as a strong pillar in their family, crediting her endless love, resilience and prayers for guiding him through both personal and ministerial journeys.
“Happy Mother’s Day to my beloved mum. Your prayers, sacrifices, strength, and endless love have shaped me into the person I am today,” Kanyari wrote.
Kanyari further expressed gratitude to God for the blessing of still having his mother in his life, noting that her influence and encouragement have remained constant over the years.
The televangelist also prayed for God to continue blessing her with good health, peace and many more joyful years as she continues serving both her family and ministry.
“You have stood with me through every season, and I thank God for the blessing of having you in my life,” he added.
In the emotional tribute, Kanyari referred to his mother as a “queen” and acknowledged her central role in holding the family together.
“May God continue to give you good health, peace, and many more joyful years. You are truly a queen and a pillar of our family. Happy Mother’s Day, Mum,” he wrote.
Over the years, Prophetess Lucy Nduta has remained a familiar figure within Kanyari’s ministry, often appearing during church services and major family celebrations.
Kanyari forgives Marion Naipei
On the same day, the preacher revealed that he had forgiven social media personality Marion Naipei despite her backsliding and going back to drinking alcohol.
Speaking emotionally before congregants on Sunday, May 10, 2026, Kanyari urged members of his church not to condemn Marion, insisting that the church is meant for people struggling with sin and personal weaknesses.
The controversial preacher explained that everybody deserves another chance, adding that he believes Marion will eventually change and find her way back spiritually.
“The church belongs to people who are full of sins, and I know Marion will change,” Kanyari said.
Kanyari further appealed to his followers to forgive the social media personality after she sought forgiveness following the controversy surrounding her behaviour online.
According to the preacher, Marion should not be chased away from the church because of her mistakes, noting that the role of the church is to help people heal and transform rather than judge them.
“I am begging you, my congregants, please forgive her because she has asked for forgiveness. Let her stay here,” Kanyari said.
