Nadia Mukami grateful as Migori fans surprise her on stage following birth of second child

Singer Nadia Mukami has revealed that she was left deeply moved by fans in Migori, who surprised her on stage during a recent performance following the birth of her second child.
Speaking in a TikTok video on Sunday, March 8, 2026, Mukami explained that when she arrived in Migori to perform, she was welcomed with overwhelming support from the audience.
She noted that fans gifted her money on stage, emphasising that the cash was separate from her official payment for the show.
“I came from the stage to perform here in Migori, and it has been a beautiful experience. People have shown me so much love. They gifted me souvenirs and many items. The very first is this money, these wads, and they are not my payment for the show. No, it is money the Migori people just gifted me on stage. How beautiful is this?” the singer said.
She further attributed the surprise to the thoughtful nature of her fans, highlighting that she was presented with an array of gifts, including alcohol, flowers, and even a tree to plant.
While Mukami acknowledged that she does not consume alcohol, she expressed gratitude for the sentiment behind the gift.
“They also gifted me alcohol and a fan. This beer can insisted, ‘Please, Nadia, take it.’ Wow… you guys are so good! I don’t drink alcohol, but I appreciate the gesture,” Nadia said.
Mukami also mentioned receiving a chain from an upcoming artiste during the event.
She said that in response to this gift, she had promised to fund a studio session for the artist so he could record a track, illustrating her commitment to supporting talent within the music community.
“I was also gifted a chain, and the person who gave it to me is an artiste. Following the gift, I have promised to pay for a studio session so he can record a track,” she added.
She described the entire experience as both heartwarming and motivating. According to Mukami, the love and recognition shown by her fans in Migori reinforced her connection with her audience and reminded her of the value of her work, particularly as a working mother balancing career and family responsibilities.
On the same note, the ‘Radio Love’ hitmaker noted that the level of care and generosity demonstrated by the fans left her feeling grateful and encouraged, prompting her to express her eagerness to return to Migori for future performances.
“I received many other gifts, including flowers, and I was even gifted a tree to plant. That was so thoughtful. When Migori books me again, I will go there running. As a working mum, being shown this much love really makes me grateful for my work,” she said.
