Media Personality Betty Kyallo has opened up about a romantic surprise organised by her partner, Charlie Jones, saying the thoughtful gesture left her feeling deeply appreciated.
In a sweet Instagram post on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, she shared that everything had been planned quietly without her knowledge, and all she had to do was show up for the getaway.
“To be celebrated like this … I wish that on everyone,” Betty Kyallo said.
She explained that the surprise came at a time when she needed rest but had not even spoken about it. According to Betty, Charlie noticed that she needed a break and decided to organise a peaceful family escape for her.
“Quietly, without me knowing, everything was packed and ready; all I had to do was show up,” Betty Kyallo explained.
Betty also revealed that the trip took place at Lake Naivasha, where she spent time with her children and her partner. She described the weekend as calm and refreshing after a busy period in her life.
“A #BountifulWeekend at Lake Naivasha, my two babies, and my man who saw I needed rest before I said a word.” Betty Kyallo said.
Life changes and motherhood
The romantic getaway comes shortly after Betty Kyallo spoke about major changes in her life and motherhood journey. The media personality recently admitted that there was a time she doubted whether she could completely change her lifestyle and settle into a new chapter.
“Aki God knows the perfect design, I always wondered whether I was ever going to be a new mum all over again,” Betty Kyallo said.
She explained that becoming a mother again required many adjustments in her personal life. According to Betty, there are several experiences she still plans to speak about in future as she continues embracing motherhood.
The media personality also admitted that she once questioned whether she could fully leave behind her old lifestyle. She, however, explained that life slowly changed with time, and she eventually embraced a different direction.
The latest getaway now reflects a calmer season in Betty’s life as she continues spending time with her family and embracing motherhood once again.
