Prophetess Mary Nduta, the mother of controversial preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari, has made an emotional appeal to residents of Kasarani, urging them to support her son’s political ambitions ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Speaking during a rally attended by Kanyari and his supporters on Saturday, June 20, 2026, the emotional mother openly pleaded with voters to elect her son as the next Member of Parliament for Kasarani.

Addressing the crowd, Prophetess Nduta began by expressing gratitude to the residents who had turned up and patiently waited to see and listen to Kanyari.

“I want to say thank you because of all the men and women who waited for Prophet Kanyari today. They waited patiently for him. May God bless you,” she said.

The preacher’s mother then shifted her focus to her son’s political ambitions, passionately asking voters to back him in the upcoming elections.

According to Nduta, she believes Kanyari has what it takes to represent the people of Kasarani and urged residents not to turn their backs on him when the time comes to cast their ballots.

“And I want now to beseech you with the respect of God that you elect this son of mine as the Kasarani MP in 2027,” she told the crowd.

The prophetess went further to personally plead with voters, saying she was begging them to support her son’s bid for the parliamentary seat.

“I am begging you to give him your vote,” she said.

In an emotional moment, Nduta even offered herself as a point of accountability, telling residents they would be free to confront her if Kanyari failed to deliver after being elected.

“And when you vote for him, and he fails to help you, look for me and tell me, ‘Mum, you told me to vote for him,’” she added.

The crowd responded positively to her remarks, prompting the prophetess to thank them for what she interpreted as support for her son’s political journey.

“Thank you because you have agreed to vote for him,” she said.

Nduta then revealed just how emotional the occasion had been for her, admitting that she had spent much of the event fighting back tears.

“And I have cried a lot while sitting there,” she said.
