Vera Sidika speaks out after concerns over her online absence
Reality TV star Vera Sidika has broken her silence after fans noticed her absence from social media and expressed how much they missed her.
The celebrated socialite had earlier revealed that she had deliberately taken time off the online space for what she termed as a healthy social media break, sparking conversations among her loyal followers.

In her post on Monday, July 21, 2025, where she was responding to a fan who said she had not posted anything since March, Vera revealed that people should calm down, as she had not disappeared deliberately but had decided to take a break for her own sake.
“Sis… we haven’t seen any real pics or videos of you since March. What’s going on? Are we good? Just checking in ’cause we miss your face and your vibe,” a fan asked Vera.
“God abeg, I have been on a healthy social media break y’all,” she responded, indicating that the break was a conscious decision to prioritise her well-being.
However, her sudden silence did not sit well with her fans, many of whom have become accustomed to her regular updates and glamorous lifestyle moments.
Following the response, one particular fan questioned why she had disappeared without giving her online community a heads-up.
The fan reminded the socialite that she shares a special bond with her loyal followers, and that taking a social media break should come with a heads-up. She also pleaded for Vera to make a quick comeback, saying her fans truly missed her presence online.
“How can you just decide to go on a healthy social media break without informing us? Like, how? Mama Asiah, how? Like, have we broken up without our consent? See eh, this relationship we have is still forever. Please come back to us, we miss you, honey,” the fan wrote.
The message, filled with humour and affection, left Vera visibly amused and touched.
She responded with an expression of disbelief, followed by a teary reaction, signalling that she was both surprised and moved by the emotional bond her fans feel towards her.

In a follow-up Instagram story, Vera opened up about how fame did not just find her later in life, revealing that she has actually been in the spotlight since the age of three.
She shared that her very first TV appearance came at the tender age of three when she was invited to a local TV station to perform a poem about butterflies.
On that note, Vera excitedly revealed that her family has always celebrated her journey to fame, with her father constantly reminding her that she has been famous since she was a baby.
“My first TV appearance was when I was just age 3, y’all. My father never stops reminding me about that,” she shared.
