Socialite Vera Sidika has succumbed to pressure from her fans, sharing an exciting announcement that she will be joining the video-sharing app TikTok.
Through a question-and-answer series done on her Instagram stories on June 17, 2024, Vera shared poll results that showed overwhelming support from her fans.
As seen in her post, 11,288 fans voted in favour of her joining the platform, while 1,571 voted against it.
Vera, true to her word, decided to go with the majority and agreed to dive into the world of TikTok.
“Yes wins, I am joining TikTok,” Vera noted.
Known for her entertaining and engaging content on Instagram and Snapchat, fans can look forward to more of her content on the video-sharing app.
The news of her TikTok debut comes just days after she marked the end of a chapter in her life with a divorce celebration.
Vera’s divorce with Mauzo
Vera Sidika recently hosted a lavish divorce party that had mixed reactions from netizens and her followers. The mother of two kept her audience entertained as she shared videos from the event captivating much of the social media presence.
Vera’s divorce received backlash citing that due to Mauzo’s reputedly desirable genetics, her marriage to Mauzo was viewed as simply a means to have children.
Vera expressed her frustration by addressing her critics directly on social media.
“Why would I lie about being legally married? Like, is there a reward for marriage that would make me lie about it?” Vera said.
Additionally, Vera explained that her parents didn’t know about the marriage since it was a personal one.
To dispel any doubts about her relationship with Brown Mauzo, Vera publicly shared her marriage certificate in response to fans’ scepticism.
