Tanzania’s Ibraah discloses reason he insisted on having a Kenyan manager

Tanzanian singer Ibrahim Abdalla Nampunga, alias Ibraah, has shared that the appointment of a manager from Kenya was largely motivated by his aim to streamline operations and strengthen East African unity
Speaking during an interview with a Tanzanian YouTuber on Friday, October 10, 2025, Ibraah clarified that he currently works with two managers, one from Tanzania and another from Kenya.
He emphasised that having a manager from Kenya makes operations smoother, particularly when handling arrangements quickly.
“Right now, I have two managers, one from Tanzania and one from Kenya. I wanted the one from Kenya because we are all East Africans and united, but also having someone from Kenya makes it much easier to handle things quickly,” Ibraah said.
He further revealed that he also works with other managers, including individuals in Burundi and South Africa, whom he plans to formally introduce soon.
“I also have other managers whom I will introduce soon; one is in Burundi and another in South Africa, and I will be working with them as well,” Ibraah added.
Marriage
In addition to professional updates, Ibraah addressed personal matters, confirming that he is now married.
He admitted that some of his recent trips to Burundi were related to his marriage, which he initially kept private.
He explained that he prefers to handle personal matters discreetly and had been cautious after noticing people sharing posts about his wedding online, which surprised him.
“Regarding other stories, it is true that I went to Burundi to get married, and I am now a husband. I had kept this private, but it was not completely secret. I am cautious because I do not like people comparing my affairs with others, especially marriages. I prefer to keep my matters lowkey. Even when people posted about my wedding, I was surprised. I wondered how they got that information. I did not want it to reach so far,” Ibraah added.

Despite this, he expressed gratitude that the process had gone smoothly, mentioning that his father-in-law personally reached out to organise a small celebration for him and his spouse, acknowledging that some time had already passed since the union.
Ibraah also cautioned against comparisons between his personal life and that of others, noting that he prefers to maintain a low profile in his private affairs.
“I am grateful to God that everything is fine. My father-in-law called me and said he would arrange a small celebration for me and my spouse, since some time had already passed.”
