Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has revealed that dating a virgin is something he absolutely wants to avoid.
In a post shared on his Instagram on Sunday, September 29, 2024, the outspoken lawmaker declared that he is not interested in being part of the process noting that he finds it too much of a burden.
The lawmaker who has been openly in search of his better half went on to explain that if he ever realized his partner was a virgin, he would allow her to go have another man to break her virginity and come back.
However, the lawmaker noted that the reserved village men like himself are the best suited for the job unlike men from the city who according to him are too weak to take on such a task.
“Type of a woman I would never wish to meet in my life; A virgin. When I realise she is a virgin I will allow her to go have another man to break her virginity and come back to me. I hate to labour to break a woman for another man hehe…though sisi vienyeji we are better at breaking virgins than born town who are very weak on the bed,” Salasya shared.
Salasya’s romance woes
The Nairobi dating pool has proven to be unaccommodating to Salasya who has been on a long search for his other half.
For weeks, he made headlines for publicly wooing Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe. Unfortunately for the MP, Huddah didn’t reciprocate his affections. The exchange quickly escalated into an online feud, with both parties trading barbs on social media.
After famously declaring his interest in content creator Azziad Nasenya back in 2022 only to be politely shown the door along the way, some bold women openly pursued him, but in a twist, the MP turned them down. Cue Otile Brown’s ‘Alivyonipenda’ (Saa zingine anayekupenda humpendi).
The MP recently revealed the reason he has not found the one. He said his wish is to marry a busy and submissive woman who according to him is not in the waters he is fishing in.
He explained that it’s challenging for him to find a wife because Nairobi women often prefer city life, whereas he wants someone who can stay at home in the village.
He mentioned that someone advised him to marry a teacher or banker, as their busy schedules would prevent them from causing stress.
“Shida ya wife na hii ni lazima wasichana waelewe Biblia inasema submissive. It’s Biblical it’s spiritual you should be submissive,” Salasya shared.
Adding;
“It’s a very difficult thing for me to marry kwa sababu madem wa siku hizi wanataka kukaa na wewe Nairobi na mimi nataka akae ushago. Mtu alikuwa ananiadvise nipate mwalimu ama banker. Mtu mwenye ako busy asiniletee stress.”
