Content creator Milly Wa Jesus has openly called out her husband, Kabi Wa Jesus, over what she feels is a lack of effort in documenting her special moments with their children.

The Wa Jesus family, known for sharing their daily lives with fans, gave followers an intimate look into a real concern that Milly has carried for some time.

In a heartfelt exchange on Instagram on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Milly told Kabi that he always seems to record his bonding moments with the kids, but hardly ever does the same for her. According to her, this leaves her with little to no memories of herself playing, washing, or spending time with the babies.

“You always do it for yourself, all the time. You don’t; you rarely do [record me],” Milly said, pointing out that she is always the one behind the camera, making sure Kabi’s fatherhood is documented.

Need for memories

Milly explained that her request is not about competition but about having lasting memories of her motherhood journey. She said she often picks up her phone to capture Kabi’s bonding moments with the children, but when it comes to her, the same effort is rarely shown.

She further noted that the absence of such recordings could create a misleading impression for the public – that Kabi is the only parent actively involved in raising their children, while her role goes unnoticed.

“I don’t have memories. You do, because of me. People might think you are always washing the babies and playing with the babies, while I do nothing,” she said.

Milly’s words reflected her desire not only to be recognised as an active mother but also to have video keepsakes she can look back on in the future.

Real talk

While Kabi tried to defend himself by saying he does record Milly occasionally, she insisted that it is too rare to be meaningful. Her request served as a gentle but firm reminder that parenting is a shared journey, and so should be the memories created along the way.

The Wa Jesus couple’s candid conversation offered a glimpse into the everyday realities of family life, showing that behind the polished videos, small issues like recording moments can carry deeper emotional weight.
