Kanyari speaks up about moments of breakdown and crying after Betty Bayo’s death

Prophet Kanyari has opened up about a challenging season in his life, describing moments of pain and reflection.
He shared in a post on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, that despite going through emotional struggles, he finds strength in faith to keep moving forward.
“This season has tested my strength in ways I never imagined. I’ve cried, I’ve broken, I’ve questioned… but somehow, God still gives me enough breath to face one more day,” he said.

Kanyari also offered words of encouragement to those going through difficult times, reminding them that healing is a gradual process.
“If you’re going through something heavy too, please hear me — you’re not alone. Healing doesn’t happen all at once. Some days you’ll feel strong, other days you’ll feel empty… and both are okay,” he said.
He said that pain can bring growth and understanding, helping people value love, appreciate relationships, and hold on to meaningful moments.
Coping with personal loss
The prophet’s recent struggles can be connected to the death of his ex-wife, Betty Bayo. Though they had separated, her passing affected him deeply. Kanyari and Betty Bayo share two children, Sky and Victor.
He said her death was a difficult moment that made him reflect on life, loss, and the importance of cherishing the people around him.
“Pain changes you, but it also grows you. It teaches you to value love, to appreciate people, and to hold on to the moments that truly matter,” he explained.

Kanyari shared how he is learning to take life one step at a time, to treat himself with compassion, and to trust that even in dark times, life can still hold moments of beauty.
“I’m learning to take life one moment at a time, to be gentle with myself, and to trust that even in the darkest moments, God still writes beautiful stories,” he said.
He concluded by offering comfort to anyone experiencing sadness or exhaustion. “If you’re hurting, may you find peace today. If you’re crying, may you find comfort. If you’re tired, may strength find you where you are,” Kanyari said.
