Kenyan taarab-influenced songstress Nyota Ndogo is reportedly very close to ending her marriage to her estranged mzungu husband.

Perhaps the most telling thing that this time it might be completely over between the two lovebirds is a message posted by Nyota on her social media.

The Watu Na Viatu hit singer took to Instagram and posted her photo which she captioned with a cryptic message to read;

Kuna mda unaweza kua unapigania kitu sana na kumbe sio chako tena. Kiachilie tu kiende. See how happy I am ni kwasababu nimekubali.

(Sometimes you might be fighting for something that’s no longer yours anymore. Let it go. I’m this happy because I’ve eventually accepted my fate)

The message comes amid back and forth between Nyota and hubby where at some point, she revealed she fears that she might die single and was begging the husband to go back.

Their woes began in April with a pregnancy prank gone wrong and after all those months of begging it wouldn’t be a hard time imagining how that could get exhausting.

Nyota is seemingly done trying to make it work and has decided to accept and let go.

In mid-May, she wrote saying she was craving for his love, not his money noting that money is not everything, having someone to love is what’s important.

 Plzz come back to me. mimi hata sio pesa nalilia love. Nilikua na act don’t care couse nakula nalala vizuri najilipia bills zangu mwenyewe but one thing nakosa from you ni love. Kumbe pesa sio kila kitu muimu kupata mtu unaempenda na wewe kwako nimefika mwisho yani kama hurudi ntajifia single, “ Nyota wrote.
