Nyota Ndogo fears spiritual attacks after spotting another snake at her compound

Singer Nyota Ndogo has once again left fans concerned after revealing that another snake recently entered her compound, just days after she killed a large venomous black mamba at her home.
In a worrying post shared on Facebook on Saturday, May 16, 2026, the singer said she encountered yet another snake attempting to enter her house, prompting her to ask fans for prayers as she questioned the repeated incidents happening around her home.
Nyota Ndogo stated that while the snakes could simply be wild animals passing through, she could not completely ignore suggestions often associated with witchcraft and spiritual attacks.
“So now snakes have decided it’s not only at the construction site but even at home. I found this one trying to enter inside my house. I NEED PRAYERS. God has protected me from many things, and I believe He cannot allow evil to happen to me,” Nyota wrote.

Despite the fear, the singer maintained her faith in God, saying she believes God has protected her from many dangers before and would not allow evil to reach her.
“Maybe these are just animals passing by, but if they are the kind people say are sent, then witches must be very busy. But I do not believe a human being can defeat God,” she added.
Venomous black mamba
Her latest comments come shortly after she sparked debate online after killing a black mamba found within her compound on May 14, 2026.
At the time, sections of social media users criticised her decision to kill the venomous snake, arguing that she should have contacted the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) instead of taking matters into her own hands.
Responding to the criticism, Nyota Ndogo defended her actions, saying people would still have blamed her if the snake had bitten or killed one of her workers.
“If that snake had bitten my worker and he died, people would now be saying I sacrificed him to become rich. But because he managed to kill it first, the comments on Facebook are all saying I should not have killed the snake,” she wrote.
The singer argued that in moments of danger, people often react instinctively rather than waiting to call authorities, especially when faced with a deadly snake inside a home compound.
Nyota Ndogo further insisted that snakes are dangerous creatures and referenced religious teachings while explaining why she did not hesitate to kill the black mamba.
“So when something dangerous comes at you, will you first stop and think about calling KWS? First of all, a snake is not a good animal, even according to religious books,” she added.
