Omondi’s walk of love
The comedian left Nairobi on February 11, 2026, determined to cover a distance of 486 kilometres in the initiative, dubbed Walk of Love.
Omondi plans to establish a rescue centre with the funds raised, and both well-wishers and fans can contribute to the cause using information provided by the comedian.
Blending creativity with fundraising and charity, anyone can make Omondi walk less by purchasing from as few as a step to a kilometre or more.

“By the way guys you can help me walk less by buying Kilometres or steps on my behalf. If you buy a Kilometre it means I don’t have to walk it,” Omondi added.
To do this, one needs to send money to the initiative using the details provided by the comedian.
Eric Omondi defies injuries in walk to Mombasa
Despite suffering injuries on day one of the journey, the comedian bounced back with an assurance that he would complete the journey by all means possible.

“LAZIMA TUTAFIKA MOMBASA HATA KAMA NI BY FIRE!!! Today I tore/Injured Ligaments on my left leg and hip, but Kesho tutaendelea hata Kama tuna crawl,” Omondi said. This loosely translates to: We must reach Mombasa through any means possible. Today I tore/injured ligaments on my left leg and hip, but the walk continues tomorrow, even if it means crawling”.
