Harmonize addresses claims he called Ibraah to secret room with fishy intentions

Tanzanian Bongo Flava artiste Harmonize has finally come out to respond to damning claims made against him by his former signee Ibraah that he had once dragged him into a private room with intentions to engage in suspicious acts.
Speaking in a video shared on his Instagram on Thursday, May 15, 2025, Harmonize vehemently denied the claims and expressed disbelief that Ibraah could stoop to such a level, and questioned why the young artiste would attempt to destroy his reputation with such claims.
“And lastly, if I am not mistaken, referring to his claim that I called him into a private room and told him to disrespect his own mother—it is heartbreaking, and it is not as though I do not understand how much such words can ruin my image,” Harmonize said.
He further expressed that he felt deeply pained by the accusation because he knew there were people who might believe the narrative that Ibraah had put out.
However, he noted that he is a patient and understanding person and compared the situation to a parent whose child soils their hand, noting that a parent would never cut off their hand because of such a mistake.
“It is not that I do not know some people might believe it is true, but when a child soils your hand, you do not chop the hand off,” he said.

The ‘Ujana’ hitmaker went on to say that he had surrendered the matter to God, stating that he had already forgiven Ibraah, and that he was not seeking any form of apology from him, adding that the one who truly deserves to be apologised to is God Himself.
“First, I have handed it over to God. Second, I have forgiven him. Lastly, I am praying for him. I do not need any apology from him. If he sees the need to apologise, fine. If he feels there is something to ask forgiveness for from the people who heard those words, that is okay too. However, the one who deserves the apology most is God. If it pleases God, then the time will come. Let him speak to his God with a sincere heart, and that will earn him more blessings and help him go far,” he said.
Despite the intense back-and-forth exchange between the two artistes over the past few days, Harmonize clarified that he holds no grudge against Ibraah and extended an olive branch, stating that even though Ibraah had exited Konde Gang, he was still welcome to return and visit the label.
“As far as I am concerned, I have no problem with him. He is my brother, and Konde Gang will always remain his home,” he added.
Room incident
The secret room saga exploded on Sunday, May 11, 2025, as Ibraah retaliated against his Harmonize, who had earlier gone on a no-holds-barred Instagram tirade, accusing him of deceit, disloyalty, and an inflated ego.
The fallout came after Ibraah publicly expressed interest in leaving Harmonize’s Konde Gang label, lamenting that he was being asked to pay a staggering Ksh48 million—approximately Tsh1 billion—to be released.
That was when he fired back, suggesting that Harmonize’s motives for holding onto him might not be entirely professional.

He wondered aloud whether his former mentor was determined to keep him at the label only to continue luring him into private rooms with suspicious intentions.
“I know your goal is to ensure I completely lose help so that I come back to ask you for rent, and you call me into your room like you did the first time and your attempt failed,” he wrote, bluntly adding, “I am not food bro. I am a street guy.”
However, as the feud intensified, Ibraah later softened his tone, expressing gratitude to Harmonize for the role he played in launching his music career and giving him a platform in Tanzania’s Swahili-speaking industry.
“Your help in my life has been great, you helped me a lot, Brother Konde,” he said.
