Germany-based Kenyan TikToker Geoffrey issues plea days after receiving deportation notice

Germany-based Kenyan TikToker Geoffrey Nyabaga, popularly known as Chofriii, has appealed to his TikTok fans to step up their generosity by sending him monetary gifts, as he needs funds to meet his rental obligations.
Speaking in a TikTok live session hosted by self-proclaimed TikTok president Nyako on Saturday, November 22, 2025, Geoffrey explained that the current season in Germany calls for relaxation and urged his fans to gift him money so that he can also purchase drinks to enjoy while unwinding.
“Let me play better music as the live goes on. Right now, we are in Savannah, and all we need is support; send double, double gifts, guys, we need money to buy alcohol to relax with, and I also need money to pay rent here in Germany. Therefore, send more gifts during this live,” he said.
At the same time, the outspoken TikToker responded to Nyako’s appeal for people to support her by sending monetary gifts so that she can start a foundation.
Geoffrey said that he had suffered tremendously under Nyako and dismissed the foundation plans as a strategy by the fellow TikToker, who is also based in Germany, to exploit people.

He said that he cannot squander his money donating to foundations and advised Nyako to explore more meaningful ventures that she can pursue.
“Regarding starting foundations, I cannot start mine, of course, and I cannot contribute to foundations. I have suffered so much under Nyako, and I only require money right now, so guys, send funds,” he said.
Deportation
This appeal comes just weeks after Geoffrey shared his emotional struggle with the possibility of being deported from Germany and losing his home.
In early November 2025, the content creator went viral after detailing his situation on TikTok, stating that some Kenyans living in Germany had reportedly sent anonymous letters about him to the authorities.
He disclosed that these reports had resulted in his name appearing on Germany’s criminal registry, which caused him to lose both his accommodation and his job.
“You know that day you guys fundraised for me, I saved that money. I did not use it. Now these people have come for 2000 euros (Ksh298,000) with that lawyer they have. To write and withdraw the cases so that I am not deported. I thank you. I never touched the money you raised. Let me go back there because these people have helped me. I saved that money,” he said.
Geoffrey revealed that he had no choice but to stay at different people’s homes while awaiting the outcome of the court case.
He claimed that certain Kenyans were deliberately trying to ruin him because he does not speak German fluently and added that even those he had relied on to help with translating legal documents had allegedly spread false information about him.
“You know, I am tired. Let them arrest me, and I find myself at JKIA. I have stayed for seven years without seeing my family, and people here still want to stress me out. No one can help me,” Geoffrey said in one of his livestreams.
