Rosemary Kimwatu’s sister Neno Koech has warned against attempts to claim her late sister’s wealth, saying the property is in their father’s name.

She issued the warning while responding to continued attacks against the family following Rosemary’s death.

The sister said the family was still mourning but claimed some people continued attacking them. She said the attacks had included insults directed at their mother and other members of the family, as well as claims about Rosemary’s character.

“My sister, we are mourning, but your tormentors are still attacking you. They are now calling your mother unspeakable words; they are calling me a bastard, they are calling your kin witches and wizards,” Rosemary’s sister said on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

She said those attacking the family had also tried to push a narrative that Rosemary was a drunk. The sister warned that she would not remain silent if the attacks continued and said she was ready to share what she described as the truth.

“They have tried pushing their narrative that you were a drunk. My sister, your tormentors don’t realise I’m shameless- your tormentors don’t know I have never been a good girl; your tormentors don’t know I’m not one to toe the line,” Rosemary’s sister said.

The sister then addressed the issue of Rosemary’s wealth, making it clear that she believed the property could not be claimed by those attacking the family. She said the wealth was registered under their father’s name and warned those involved against trying to take it.

“Let them continue, and I will share with the world the truth. All her wealth is in her father’s name,” Rosemary’s sister said. She repeated the point as she warned those she accused of trying to claim the wealth.

She said the ownership of the wealth was not something that could be changed through insults or attacks against the family.

“You cannot have it even though you scream the loudest insults. All her wealth is in her father’s name,” Rosemary’s sister said.

The sister also told those she described as Rosemary’s tormentors to stop their actions. She maintained that the family was dealing with grief while also facing continued attacks over the matter.
