Diana Bahati’s ex-nanny Irene falls down after hopping on Nicki Minaj’s viral heels challenge

Kenyan influencer Diana Marua’s former employee, Irene Nekesa, has taken a nasty fall while trying the viral Nicki Minaj heels challenge that has taken the internet by storm.
In a video that has left netizens in stitches, Nekesa climbed on a small table with a packet of maize flour to try and recreate the now-famous Nicki Minaj pose. As she lifted one leg to strike the signature stance, she wobbled, lost her balance, and the maize flour flew. The challenge ended in disaster.
The challenge, which has taken over TikTok and Instagram, was inspired by a scene from Nicki Minaj’s 2013 music video High School, where the rapper confidently balances on one leg in sky-high heels by the edge of a pool. Fans have since turned the pose into a daring challenge, trying to replicate it in the most bizarre and risky places.

What began as a simple trend has quickly turned into a test of bravery and balance. Some people are posing on top of dumbbells, stacks of books, slippery floors, or even wine bottles. The more dangerous the setting, the more impressive the attempt.
In Kenya, the challenge is catching on fast. Content creators and everyday users alike are sharing their takes. TikToker NESH Kenya joined the craze with a bold attempt that had viewers holding their breath. Others followed suit, trying the move on narrow stools and uneven ground.
One person who nailed it, however, was Lynne Njihia, the baby mama of comedian Eric Omondi. Lynne confidently pulled off the pose while standing on stacked dumbbells, striking the exact Nicki Minaj stance without a wobble.
“Challenge closed,” she captioned.
