Bolo Bespoke’s wife Mueni warns family against burying her with makeup

Bolo Bespoke’s wife, Mueni, has openly set out her posthumous wishes, insisting that she should not be buried with makeup or a wig and that her natural appearance must be preserved.
The revelations come in the wake of a viral will attributed to former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, which stipulated that he be buried within 72 hours of his passing, prompting widespread discussion about burial preferences and personal wishes.
In a TikTok video on Thursday, October 30, 2025, Mueni explained that she has never liked wearing makeup or wigs and prefers to maintain a natural look.
“I see people giving instructions that when someone dies, certain things should be done. I have my own instructions, when I die, do not apply makeup on me. One thing you have never known is that I do not like makeup at all, and I also do not like wigs,” Mueni said.
She said that while she sometimes wears makeup for work obligations, it is not something she enjoys.
She added that if given the choice, she would rather shave her hair and remain bare-faced, allowing her skin to breathe, and embrace the freedom she loves in life.
“Sometimes I wear makeup because I am forced to, but if I had the choice, I would shave my hair and remain like this, with my natural face. And if you feel bad about that, then leave it as it is. I love my skin to breathe. I love my free life,” she added.
Okanga’s wish
In a similar development, Nuru Okanga, a well-known ardent supporter of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, recently came out to issue clear instructions on how he wishes to be laid to rest when his time comes.
Speaking to a local YouTuber on Saturday, October 18, 2025, Okanga said he felt that Raila’s passing had left him exposed and decided it was only right to make his own death wishes known while still alive.

He added that, just like his political idol, he wants his burial conducted within 72 hours of his death, without any delays.
“I, Nuru Okanga, have been left in difficult hands. So, as Nuru Okanga, I will continue to speak out. And Kenyans, on the day you hear that I am dead, ensure that within 72 hours I am buried, just as Raila stated in his will. I also want to follow Raila quickly,” he said.
