Diamond and Zuchu’s baby’s Instagram account taken down shortly after public unveiling

Tanzanian singer Zuchu has revealed what happened to her daughter Sandrah Naseeb Issack’s newly launched Instagram account after the page was suspended shortly after attracting thousands of followers.

In an Instagram story on Thursday, September 17, 2026, Zuchu explained that the account was suspended following an unusually high level of interaction after it was created, leaving her team working to have the page restored.

“Account ya @Sandrahnaseeb imekua suspended sababu ya interaction kubwa kwa account mpya. Our team is working on it,” Zuchu posted.

The update came just days after Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz officially introduced their daughter to the public, bringing an end to months of anticipation surrounding the first child they welcomed together.

Sandrah’s Instagram account had been launched on Saturday, September 12, during the family’s elaborate 40-day celebration, with the page attracting a huge following within a remarkably short period.

Within less than five hours of its launch, the account had already amassed more than 27,000 followers, as fans rushed to get a glimpse into the life of the newest member of Diamond’s family.

The sudden suspension consequently came as a surprise to followers who had only just discovered the page following Sandrah’s highly anticipated public unveiling.

The account was launched on the same day Diamond and Zuchu publicly showed their daughter’s face for the first time during the lavish celebration held to mark 40 days since her birth.

The occasion, commonly known as Arobaini, was attended by members of the couple’s families and close associates, with the event also providing the setting for Sandrah’s formal introduction to the public.

Sandrah was born on August 2, 2026, making her the first child of Diamond and Zuchu together, while also becoming Diamond’s fifth child.

Her arrival had been preceded by considerable public interest, with Diamond and Zuchu keeping details surrounding the pregnancy and their daughter largely away from the public eye until the couple eventually confirmed the news.

The couple had earlier held a high-profile baby shower and gender reveal on July 31, putting to rest speculation surrounding Zuchu’s pregnancy.

Following Sandrah’s birth, Diamond shared emotional moments from the hospital, giving fans their first glimpse into the early moments surrounding the arrival of his daughter.

The family later held a series of traditional celebrations ahead of the main 40-day ceremony, including a Singo Day and a women-only Henna Night at Mama Dangote’s home in Tegeta Madale, Dar es Salaam.

The main Arobaini celebration on September 12 was particularly significant because it marked Sandrah’s first major public appearance.

Guests and members of the media attending the ceremony were required to observe an all-black Arabic-inspired dress code, while the venue was decorated in beige, cream, dusty rose and gold tones.

The occasion also brought together Diamond’s wider family, with his elder children Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan travelling to Tanzania to celebrate their younger sister’s milestone.

Diamond’s former partner Tanasha Donna also attended the celebration alongside their son, Naseeb Junior, adding to the family gathering.

Sandrah’s name had earlier been revealed by her maternal grandmother, singer Khadija Kopa, who explained that the baby’s name appeared on her birth certificate.

The name Sandrah, also referred to as Sanura, was chosen in honour of her paternal grandmother, Mama Dangote, whose name is Sanura Kasimu.

Following the public unveiling, attention quickly shifted to Sandrah’s new social media presence, with thousands of followers flocking to her newly created Instagram page.
