Wamae: Meru Mama Mboga s3x video shows there’s no dignity in poverty

Former Roots party 2022 presidential running mate Justina Wamae has linked the viral s3x video of a Meru Mama Mboga to poverty and poor choices Kenyans make in electing governments.
Taking to X on Monday, October 27, 2025, Wamae blamed the electorate for falling for bad policies instead of demanding transformative proposals from their leaders. This is after the said Mama Mboga confessed to having been promised Ksh20,000 by an unnamed person for the videos.
The particular unfolding has sparked wild reactions from the public, with many calling out the culprit for leaking the videos, including influential figures who have called for the arrest of the perpetrators behind the leakages.
Government’s failure
However, on her part, Justina Wamae has blasted the government for failing to deliver its promises to ‘Mama mboga’, who are still languishing in abject poverty after the current administration promised to transform their lives when they were seeking votes in 2022.
”I have watched the apology of the lady from Meru. All this is because a man sent her Ksh20,000. The constant theme is that poverty is the enemy and there’s no dignity in poverty. Yet here you are running around like a headless chicken shouting wantam and tutam shenanigans! Instead of demanding for policy and legislative proposals that will eradicate poverty or the very least lower the number of those facing poverty to a bare minimum.
