Man who leaked my s3x video sent me Ksh20K – Meru Mama Mboga

A Meru vegetable vendor popularly known as Mama Mboga has confirmed that the man who leaked her explicit video initially sent her Ksh20,000 as part of an online arrangement that later turned into blackmail.
Speaking publicly in a video shared on social media on October 27, 2025, she acknowledged receiving the money.
“Nikamtumia, akanitumia elfu ishirini,” she said.
The woman sent the videos as requested, and he transferred the Ksh20,000.
A promise of financial stability
The ordeal began when another woman approached her with a promise of financial stability through finding a husband online.
“Nilidanganywa na msichana mwengine akaniambia kuja nikuonyeshe vile utapata bwana, akaniambia hivyo ndio mi hufanya ndio maana unaona ninakula, ninavaa, na ninalipa rent, akaniambia niende anionyeshe vile nitafanya,” she recounted.
The woman then introduced her to the internet platform: “Akanionyesha vile tunaingia internet, akaniambia sasa nitapata mwanaume wa kunisaidia.”
Unsuspecting, Mama Mboga engaged with the man: “Sasa kuingia, mimi sikujua huyo ni mwizi, akaniambia sasa niko tayari kukuoa, akaniuliza niko na watoto wangapi, nikamwambia wangu wanne na wangu watatu.” He expressed readiness to marry her after she revealed she had four biological children and three others under her care. She agreed to his terms: “Akaniambia ako tayari kunioa iwapo nitafuata na kutii maagizo yake kama bwana yangu, nikamwambia ni sawa.”
From payment to blackmail
The conversation progressed to explicit demands: “So tukaendelea akaniambia utatengeneza video zako unitumie, then nitakupea elfu ishirini.”

After sending her videos, the Ksh20,000 arrived. But soon, threats emerged: “Sasa hii elfu ishirini ikawa kama pigo kwangu ankawa ananiambia nimtumie elfu mbili hapo, usipotuma sahii nitakuanika.” She had no prior knowledge of the man: “Mimi sikua najua huyu mtu ako serious na mimi, ju aliniambia siko Keya na si eti nilikua namjua lakini alinitumia pesa.”
Persistent harassment followed: “Sasa vile alianza kunisumbua na simu, na ile elfu ishirini ameshinda akiniitisha nimemrudishia karibu yote tena, hadi nikashindwa, nikachange simcard, hizo video ni za kitambo.”
In a plea for mercy, she addressed the nation, literally bursting into tears and kneeling: “Kwa hivyo naomba msamaha kwa waKenya wanisamehe, na watoto wangu, mwenye ako na hiyo video afute kabisa na wanisamehe sitarudia tena.” The leaked videos, now circulating online, stem from transactions made months ago, leaving the single mother appealing for privacy and forgiveness.
