Sheryl Gabriella has issued a public statement after an intimate video linked to her circulated on various social media platforms.
In the statement on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, she apologised to those affected by the content’s circulation. She addressed the ongoing matter, saying it is under investigation by the relevant authorities.
“I have taken note of the concerns raised regarding the circulation of an intimate video associated with me on various social media platforms,” Sheryl Gabriella said.
She also apologised to people who were affected by the situation. Sheryl said she understands the concern the matter has caused and acknowledged the disappointment that followed the circulation of the content. She said she wanted to address the issue publicly.
“First and foremost, I sincerely apologise to anyone who has been affected or disappointed by the circulation of this content. I understand the concern that this situation has caused, especially to those who have supported me throughout my career,” Sheryl Gabriella said.
She says video was shared without consent
Sheryl also denied uploading or distributing the video herself. She explained that the content was shared without her knowledge or consent and said the incident has had a personal impact on her because it was a violation of her privacy.
“I would, however, like to clarify that I was not the person who uploaded or distributed the video online. The content was shared without my knowledge or consent, and I have been deeply affected by this violation of my privacy,” Sheryl Gabriella said.
She further confirmed that the matter is being investigated. Sheryl said she is cooperating with the relevant authorities and added that she will not discuss the details while the investigation is still ongoing.
“The matter is currently under active investigation by the relevant authorities, and I am fully cooperating with the investigative process. Out of respect for those proceedings, I will not comment further on the details at this time,” Sheryl Gabriella said.
Sheryl ended her statement by saying she remains committed to acting professionally and responsibly as the legal process continues. She also thanked her family, friends, partners, colleagues and supporters for standing by her during the difficult period.
“I remain committed to conducting myself professionally and responsibly, and I appreciate the patience, understanding, and support I have received from my family, friends, fans, and professional partners during this difficult period. Thank you for your continued support as I allow the legal process to take its course,” Sheryl Gabriella said.
