Kalonzo mourns Isiolo South MP as dedicated public servant
Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has sent a message of condolence following the passing of Tubi Bidu Mohamed, the Member of Parliament for Isiolo South Constituency.
In his statement on Thursday, November 13, 2025, Kalonzo described the late legislator as a dedicated public servant whose leadership was marked by humility and commitment to his people.

“It is with deep sorrow that I have learned of the passing of Hon. Tubi Bidu Mohamed. His passing is a great loss not only to Isiolo South but to the entire nation,” Kalonzo said.
He extended his family’s and the Wiper Democratic Movement’s condolences, expressing solidarity with the people of Isiolo South during this difficult time.
“On behalf of my family and the Wiper Patriotic Front Party, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the people of Isiolo South. May the Almighty Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and give his family strength and comfort,” he added.
Tubi was serving his first term in Parliament, where he sat on the Departmental Committee on Environment, Forestry and Mining and the Public Petitions Committee.
Before joining the National Assembly, he served as the inaugural Speaker of the Isiolo County Assembly, a position he held until 2017.
President Ruto’s condolence message
Taking to his social media account on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, President William Ruto eulogised the MP as a dedicated public servant who advocated for community empowerment.
“I have learnt with deep sorrow of the passing on of Isiolo South MP, Hon Mohamed Tubi. On behalf of the government and the people of Kenya, I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the people of Isiolo South,” Ruto wrote.
“Hon Tubi will be remembered as a dedicated public servant and a passionate advocate for education, who believed in empowering communities through knowledge and opportunity.”
The Head of State said the commitment of the late legislator to transforming the lives of his constituents and advancing development in Isiolo stands as a lasting legacy of his leadership.
“May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace and comfort his loved ones during this very difficult time,” the statement read.
