Maguire signs contract extension deal at Manchester United
Centre back Harry Maguire has committed his future to Manchester United after agreeing to fresh terms that will keep him at the club until June 2027, with an additional one-year option included.
Since arriving at Old Trafford in 2019, the central defender has featured 266 times for the Red Devils and lifted both the Carabao Cup and the Emirates FA Cup during his time with the side.

Meanwhile, Maguire’s contract extension at Old Trafford comes shortly after the team’s push for European football next season has been boosted by the return of winger Patrick Dorgu.
The Red Devils have confirmed that Dorgu has made further progress in his rehabilitation process. The 21-year-old has been sidelined since January 2026 after picking up an injury during the club’s 3-2 victory away to Arsenal on Sunday, January 25, 2026. That match saw him score with a powerful strike that bounced in off the crossbar to put United ahead.
His absence came shortly after an impressive spell, during which he scored a standout goal against Newcastle United and also found the net in the derby clash with Manchester City.
Following the setback, Dorgu has been undergoing rehabilitation at the club’s Carrington training facility under the supervision of medical staff, focusing on fitness and strength work. The latest update shows that he has now advanced to light on-field sessions, training individually as part of the next stage of his recovery.
