Millie Odhiambo sends prayerful message to Winnie Odinga after explosive interview

Suba North Member of Parliament (MP) Millie Odhiambo has reacted to Winnie Odinga’s interview with a prayerful message.
The lawmaker beamed with pride in a message shared on her official Facebook account on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, revealing that she was impressed by Winnie during the interview.
“Am I not just proud of Winnie Odinga? The apple did not fall far from the tree,” Millie stated.

She prayed for God’s favour and peace as Winnie and her family continue to mourn the death of their father.
“Praying for God’s favour for your life. Praying for peace as you still mourn your dad. It shall be well,” she added.
Pauline Njoroge praises Winnie
Earlier, the East Africa Legislative Assembly (EALA) lawmaker received praise in the wake of the interview in which she set the record straight on several issues with a lot of clarity.
Jubilee politician Pauline Njoroge praised the EALA MP for her brilliance and clarity, noting that she is articulate in what she believes in.
“Winnie Odinga is who she thinks she is: brilliant, firm, articulate and very clear on what she stands for!” Njoroge stated in a Facebook post on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Winnie clarifies reports of family feud
Winnie addressed several issues, including her relationship with ODM party leader Oburu Odinga and claims of feuds within the Odinga family.
“There is no family feud. If there was a family feud, I doubt he would tell me that in public. He is a funny guy. Mambo ya nyumbani tunaongea kinyumbani, but mambo ya chama is not to be discussed at home.
“I love Dr Oburu, he is my only dad. I don’t know why this has become national news. Our family is tight. We have no problems at all,” she said.
She also dismissed Oketch Salah as a serial liar, cautioning Kenyans against trusting him.

“I have met Oketch Salah, but I’d like to believe nobody really knows him. A flat-out lie that you were there at the time of my father’s death and you were not, and talking about things that did not occur, is quite dangerous and makes me question his intentions,” she added.
Winnie added that in her view, Oketch should be rushed to either Mathare or DCI.
