Here are some of the celebrities who have embraced Islam.
DJ Kezz
Dj Kezz officially announced her conversion to Islam on Friday, July 11, 2025.
Taking to her official social media channels, the former DJ posted a heartwarming photo of herself with her daughter dressed in Islamic attire.
She expressed her gratitude and announced that they had taken their Shahadah, the central declaration of faith in Islam, considered the religion’s first pillar.
The mother of one further stated that the Shahadah marked the beginning of what she described as the most beautiful chapter yet.

After the announcement, fans asked if she had converted to Islam, and she confirmed that she is now a Muslim.
“Alhamdulillah. We’ve taken Our Shahada. This is the beginning of the most beautiful chapter yet!,” she announced.
“I am now a Muslim.”
In addition, the energetic entertainer revealed that her Muslim name is Zziah, while her daughter’s is Liyana.
Cassypool
The social media sensation announced in August 2024 that he had adopted the Islamic faith.
Taking to his Instagram account, Cassypool shared glimpses of his journey, with many fans and fellow celebrities offering messages of support and welcome into the Muslim community.
He was seen at Nairobi Jamia Mosque, where he took the Islamic name Yakub. His conversion became a talking point, given his public profile in the entertainment industry.

Collins Sichenje
The celebrated Harambee Stars defender Collins Sichenje also embraced Islam.
Sichenje, known for his prowess on the football pitch and his tenure with Swedish top-tier side AIK, converted to Islam in March 2024.
His conversion, which included taking the Shahada (the Islamic declaration of faith) in a ceremony.
Tanasha Donna
Singer and former radio presenter Tanasha Donna converted to Islam in April 2020 after she got romantically involved with Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz.
She adopted the Muslim name Aisha upon her conversion.
