Remcy Don reveals customizing plates for his Mercedes-Benz for Ksh3M
Digital content creator Remcy Don, who went viral after claiming to be Kenya’s doppelgänger of American rapper Jason Derulo, has revealed that he spent Ksh3 million to acquire customised number plates for his Mercedes-Benz.
In an Instagram post on Monday, February 2, 2026, Remcy shared images of the newly released personalised plates.
“Finally my official personalised plate is out. Wenye walikuwa wanaulizia number plate mko..? Hii hata sio Expe ni kamita tu tatu,” he wrote.
The reveal comes a few days after Remcy Don announced the purchase of the luxury Mercedes-Benz, a move he described as the fulfilment of a promise tied to his beloved football club, Manchester United.
Speaking at the time of the purchase, Remcy said the purchase was a testament to keeping his word.

“Kusema na kutenda! Promise made, promise kept! Manchester United won, and here we are, brand new Mercedes-Benz secured. Kwanza ni black tu, vile mlisema ikue. I always keep my word,” he said.
He went on to congratulate himself and fellow Manchester United fans, describing the car as a shared victory.
“Congratulations to me and all Manchester United fans, hii ni yetu,” he added.
Remcy Don on losing TikTok account
This comes a few months after Remcy Don, who went viral after claiming to be Kenya’s doppelgänger of American rapper Jason Derulo, has announced that his TikTok account with over 220,000 followers has been hacked.

Taking to his Instagram stories on Sunday, September 6, 2025, the singer lamented that cybercriminals are now targeting social media accounts instead of financial platforms.
“Sad day it is. My TikTok account has over 220K followers imehackiwa. Badala ya watu kuvuna bank accounts wanakuja kuvuna TikTok, kweli priorities zimechange,” Remcy Don wrote.
