Pastor T Mwangi reveals how he discovered his older girlfriend’s secret affair through a dream

Life Church Limuru lead pastor and founder T Mwangi has opened up about a painful experience from his younger years, recalling how he discovered that his girlfriend was secretly involved with an older man she had introduced to him as her uncle.
Mwangi recounted the unusual chain of events, explaining that the older man would often speed away whenever he saw him because he believed the pastor was his girlfriend’s cousin.
Speaking about the relationship during an interview with Kameme FM’s Muthoni Babytop on Thursday, September 17, 2026, Mwangi said his girlfriend had also told him that the older man was her uncle and one of the people who supported her financially.
She had further warned him that the man did not like seeing her talking to other men, leaving Mwangi convinced that he was simply dealing with a protective relative.
“So it got to a point that mbaba would drive fast every time he saw me and vanish. Because he knew and thought that my girlfriend was my cousin,” Mwangi recalled.
The pastor explained that the man believed he was the cousin who would report the woman to her mother, giving him another reason to avoid being seen around her.
“My girlfriend had also told me that that man was her uncle and was the one who supports her and that he never liked seeing her talking to men,” he said.
Mwangi said the unusual encounters continued for some time because neither he nor the older man knew the truth about the other’s relationship with the woman.
“So when we used to meet with that man, he used to think I was her cousin and I used to think he was her uncle and we always never stayed together and we would vanish,” he said.
Despite the confusion surrounding the older man, Mwangi said he was deeply invested in the relationship and had reached a point where he was praying for God to preserve it.
He recalled that it was the first relationship for which he had deliberately prayed, asking God to help him remain with the woman and give them a shared vision for their future.
“And we were serious because I remember that was the first time I prayed for a relationship and I asked God to stay with her and give us vision,” he said.

Mwangi said his prayers were followed by what he described as a vision in which he saw his girlfriend with the same older man inside a huge hotel.
According to the pastor, the vision showed his girlfriend in a situation she appeared uncomfortable with, while money had been thrown into the situation.
“And God later gave me a vision, and I saw my girl in a vision. She was with the older man in a huge hotel, and I saw in the vision that she was in a situation she did not like, but money had been thrown in,” he recalled.
The experience left Mwangi sufficiently concerned to confront his girlfriend about what he believed he had seen.
He said he asked her who was giving her money and what kind of relationship she had with the older man.
Mwangi recalled that his girlfriend broke down in tears when he confronted her, leaving him convinced that there was more to the relationship than she had previously disclosed.
“So I went and confronted her and asked her who gives her money and what kind of a relationship they have with that man,” he said.
“She started crying, and I asked her to explain to me the truth. I was so mad, and I also felt like crying.”
The confrontation eventually left the woman questioning how Mwangi had learnt about the relationship, particularly because, according to his recollection, nobody else knew about the affair.
“And she asked me how I knew, yet no one knew of that affair,” he said.
