Kamba dancer and gospel singer Ndeke ya Muthanga has issued a stern warning to individuals who failed to attend his recent house-warming ceremony, declaring that he will no longer show up at their events without payment.

In a post shared on his Facebook page on Sunday, April 5, 2026, the ‘Kisunguli’ hitmaker expressed frustration with people he claims ignored his milestone celebration, only to later reach out, inviting him to their own events.

He questioned the logic of being expected to fuel his car and travel to support others for free, yet they did not show him the same courtesy during his big day.

“Some of you people think I am stupid. How do you fail to attend my event, then call me saying you have an event and people want me there because they like me? And you expect me to fuel my car and come to your place for free?” he said.

Ndeke further made it clear that moving forward, anyone seeking his presence at an event must be ready to pay for it.

He particularly called out individuals in the entertainment space who identify themselves as celebrities or artistes, insisting that those who failed to attend his mansion unveiling should not expect any favours from him.

“If you did not come to my mansion, and you call yourself an artist or a celebrity, just forget about Ndeke completely. If you want me at your event, you must come with money in your hand. That is the level Ndeke is at right now,” he said.

The singer emphasised that his time and presence carry value, and he would no longer tolerate what he described as disrespect from people who only reach out when it benefits them.

He also urged his fans to understand his position, noting that he has worked hard to build his brand and deserves to be treated accordingly.

“I cannot just be attending every event when I have worked hard to build my home. My fans, understand me. Ndeke now has a big team,” he added.

His remarks come just days after he hosted a colourful housewarming ceremony to unveil his newly built mansion in Kaewa, Masinga sub-county, Machakos County.

The event attracted a mix of celebrities, political leaders, friends, and fans who turned up to celebrate the major milestone with him.

During the ceremony, Ndeke showcased the six-bedroom house, which he previously claimed cost approximately Ksh14 million to construct.

He described the property as a significant personal achievement, complete with multiple security gates, a perimeter wall, and an electric fence.

The housewarming event also drew praise from fellow artistes, including Alex Kasau Katombi, who defended Ndeke against online criticism and commended his hard work and determination in becoming a homeowner.

Gospel singer Stella Mengele also lauded him, describing his journey as a testament to persistence and dedication.
