Muthoni Njakwe expresses worry after videos of Russian guy go viral

Financial expert Muthoni Njakwe has also waded into the debate surrounding a man from Russia whose videos with Kenyan and Ghanaian women have taken the internet by storm.

The viral clips, which have sparked outrage and concern online, show the foreign national approaching different women in public before later posting follow-up videos filmed inside private rooms.
Although the content is not explicit, many Kenyans have questioned the circumstances under which the videos were recorded and shared.
Reacting to the controversy, Muthoni said the issue goes beyond social media gossip and touches on deeper public health and social concerns.
“I feel so sad for the girls affected by this Russian man, but even more heartbreaking are the ripple effects on the entire population,” she wrote.

She posed a worrying question about the potential consequences.
“Do you know how many people are already infected as we speak? The ripple effect is shocking,” she added, hinting at fears of possible sexually transmitted infections spreading unknowingly.
Muthoni also raised concerns about the profile of some of the women seen in the videos.

“What’s even more disturbing is that he targeted women from low-income areas. Poverty and low self-esteem often go hand in hand, and it makes people vulnerable. Or is it childhood trauma?” she questioned.
According to her, the situation highlights how economic hardship and emotional struggles can leave individuals exposed to manipulation.

“Let’s be honest. This is a man with nothing to offer. Anyway, I’m still studying psychology and human behavior. I am trying to understand why people do what they do,” she stated.
She concluded her remarks with a spiritual reflection.
“All in all, make God your Lord. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Her comments have added another layer to the ongoing national conversation, as Kenyans continue to debate issues of consent, vulnerability, public health, and personal responsibility in the digital age.
