Migos reunion: Quavo and Offset preview first collaboration in 5 years

Migos members Quavo and Offset have reunited musically, previewing their first collaboration in five years as anticipation builds around Quavo’s upcoming album QRÖMELIFE.

Quavo and Offset were seen together on Monday night, September 27,2026 during Quavo’s QRÖMELIFE listening party in Los Angeles, where they previewed their upcoming collaboration “Away”.

Footage from the event showed the two rappers standing together as a snippet of the unreleased track played, giving fans their first preview of the collaboration.

“Away” is featured on QRÖMELIFE as the fourth track and marks the first collaboration between Quavo and Offset in five years. The song is expected to be released alongside the album on October 2.

Quavo shares meaning behind QRÖMELIFE

Quavo recently unveiled the tracklist for QRÖMELIFE, his third solo studio album, which is executive produced by Pharrell Williams.

The 14-track project features several high-profile artistes, including Future, T.I., Pharrell, Tyler, the Creator, A$AP Rocky, Lil Baby, Yung Miami and Justin Timberlake, alongside Offset.

Sharing the tracklist, Quavo revealed that he made the project last year while dealing with grief and looking for a way to express himself through music.

“We made this project together last year at a time when I was still dealing with grief and needed to create and express myself,” he said.

Quavo described QRÖMELIFE as a journey through difficult moments and finding his way to the other side through faith, family and his love for music.

A new chapter for Migos

The collaboration comes after years of tension between Quavo and Offset and the eventual breakup of Migos following the death of fellow member Takeoff in 2022.

Migos last released an album together in 2021 with Culture III. Quavo and Offset have since pursued solo careers while their relationship has remained a subject of interest among fans.

The two have, however, shown signs of reconnecting. Their reunion at the listening party comes as Quavo has also discussed plans for another Migos project.

Earlier this month, Quavo reiterated that Migos would return, saying, “We coming back. We’re going to do it one more time.”

He has also confirmed that he and Offset are working towards a final Migos album, with reports indicating that the project could include previously recorded vocals from Takeoff.
