Mosiria vows to test if Prophet Kanyari’s anointing will earn him a CS position
Nairobi County Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, has vowed to attend Salvation Healing Ministries headed by Prophet Victor Kanyari to witness if his anointing oil works.
In a statement on Saturday, December 6, 2025, Mosiria explained that he would attend one of Kanyari’s services and proceed to receive the anointing oil.

According to the Nairobi county official, his main aim would be to see if Kanyari’s anointing oil would help him secure a cabinet secretary position in the national government.

Mosiria vowed to return to the church with a multitude of other believers to give a testimony of how the anointing helped him secure a slot in the cabinet, if it works.
“Rafiki yangu kama kweli hii mafuta inafanya kazi, Sunday nitakuja unimwagie nione kama baraka itatokea nipate uwaziri katika serikali kuu. Na hapo mimi nitakuja nitoe ushuhuda nikiandamana na wengine ambao watasema kweli mafuta ya Kanyari inafanya kazi,” Mosiria stated.

Kanyari vs Mosiria
Mosiria’s sentiments followed Prophet Kanyari’s claim that Mosiria was moved from the Nairobi Environment Chief Officer’s docket because he failed to respect him as an anointed man of God.

Speaking during a service at his church on Sunday, November 30, 2025, Kanyari took a dig at Mosiria, recalling how the county official had harassed him for roasting meat in the church.
“Even that Nairobi Environment Chief Officer, Mosiria, was reassigned. I did not curse him, but never disrespect a man of God or his servants. I have also seen people on social media saying that Kanyari and Mosiria had a falling out and that Mosiria was removed from his docket because of me,” Kanyari said.

To settle the matter, Mosiria vowed to attend Kanyari’s service but asked him to stop roasting meat inside the church.
On family matters, Mosiria extended his condolences to Kanyari following the death of Betty Bayo. He offered to give him support through counselling sessions if he needed, following the death of his ex-wife.
