Kanyari over the moon after bagging prestigious award

Salvation Healing Ministry’s Prophet Victor Kanyari is now a happy man.
This is after he was rewarded with one of the most prestigious accolades at the recently concluded Beba Awards, where he walked away with the title Most Influential Pastor of the Year.

Through his Facebook account on Sunday, December 14, 2025, a visibly excited Kanyari broke the news, thanking the Beba Awards team for what he termed as a special and deeply meaningful recognition.

“Thanks to the Beba Awards team for this special recognition. Being nominated and winning – Most Influential Pastor of the Year, really means a lot to me. I really appreciate your efforts. Be blessed always,” Kanyari posted.
The controversial but influential preacher further revealed that the celebrations did not stop at the award ceremony.
He disclosed that he was later visited by officials from the Federation of Drivers and Conductors (FEDCO), led by their president, Calvin Nyaure, who paid him a courtesy call bearing gifts in appreciation of his impact.
“Glad to be visited by the Federation of Drivers and Conductors (FEDCO) President, Calvin Nyaure, accompanied by his team bearing gifts recognising the massive impact during the recently concluded Beba Awards,” he added.

In his characteristically blunt style, Kanyari used the moment to reflect on generosity and service beyond the pulpit, delivering a thinly veiled swipe at what he described as hypocrisy among some religious leaders.
Kanyari speaks on his salvation
“Kusaidia si kwa uokovu tu, bali ni kitu kinatoka rohoni. Watu wengi huku nje wamevalia hadi vitambaa vyeupe lakini hata shilingi hawawezi kupa,” he remarked.
The award win cements Kanyari’s growing influence beyond the church, with his name increasingly dominating social and political conversations online.

Notably, Kanyari’s celebratory remarks come just hours after he hinted at a possible political comeback ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Speaking during a church service earlier on Sunday, the outspoken preacher revealed that he may consider vying for a political seat, although he admitted he is still weighing his options.
The timing of the award, coupled with his political hints, has fueled speculation that Kanyari could be positioning himself for a bigger role on the national stage, both spiritual and political.
