Eric Omondi unveils Manchester United fans’ coach ahead of Arsenal clash

Comedian Eric Omondi has unveiled a Manchester United fans’ coach ahead of a much-anticipated fan showdown against Arsenal supporters set to take place at Nyayo Stadium this weekend.
The event, which has been building buzz among football fans in Kenya, will bring together supporters of the two English Premier League giants for a friendly but competitive fan experience.
Eric introduced the visiting coach, who is from Hillingdon in the United Kingdom, saying the initiative is aimed at preparing Manchester United fans for the showdown.
The coach, speaking at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, after arriving in Kenya, said he was grateful to Eric Omondi for giving him the opportunity to come and coach the Manchester United fans ahead of Sunday’s event.

“I am very thankful to Eric Omondi for giving me this opportunity to come here and coach the Manchester United team for Sunday,” the coach said.
He added that he intends to bring tactical experience to the fans, drawing from his coaching background in the UK.
“I will try to give them all the tactics, like I did for Hillingdon in the United Kingdom, to make us win the league; we hope for the best, and we will get victory on Sunday,” he added.
The coach also made a bold prediction for the match, saying: “I am thinking 4-1.”
