Content creator Pritty Vishy has responded after facing criticism following her announcement that she is starting a new career as a DJ.
She addressed the concerns raised about her first DJ mix and explained that she is still learning as she begins the journey. She also made it clear that she is serious about pursuing the new path.
Pritty Vishy said she understands why people had questions about her mix but asked for patience as she continues to improve. She explained that learning is part of the process and believes her skills will be better understood during a live performance. She also maintained that she is committed to becoming better at the craft.
“Okay, I have seen your concerns for real and so many questions about my mix …but here’s the thing, I’m still learning; I just wish you guys can hear me DJING live me ni mnoma,” Pritty Vishy said on Friday, July 17, 2026.
Starting a new chapter
She also addressed experienced DJs, saying she respects the profession and is not taking it lightly. Pritty Vishy explained that she understands the work that goes into DJing and asked those with more experience to give her time as she learns. She added that she is looking forward to proving herself through live performances.
“And to the DJ gurus, please take me slow, and noooo I don’t take/see your job (DJing) like a joke nitawamixia live Sawa,” she said.
Her response came after she recently revealed that she is preparing to venture into DJing. The content creator shared a series of photos showing herself with professional DJ equipment, including a DJ controller and headphones. The images suggested that she is ready to explore a different direction in her career.
In one of the photos, Pritty Vishy posed confidently while leaning against the DJ controller and holding a pair of headphones to one ear. The photos were accompanied by a caption that hinted at a fresh beginning and a new phase in her career. The post showed her intention to pursue DJing while continuing with her personal brand.
She described the move as the start of something new and suggested that more is yet to come.
