Content creator and businesswoman Marya Okoth has opened up about the early days of her business, recalling the gratitude she felt when she first opened a small shop.
In an Instagram post shared on Friday, July 10, 2026, Marya looked back at the beginning of her journey and said the small space meant more to her than many people may have understood.
She explained that starting the business was a personal achievement, even though the shop was not large. “I remember how happy and grateful I was when I was starting this business. The shop was so small, but it was enough to fill my heart with thanks to God,” she wrote.
For Marya, the shop marked the beginning of a dream she had been working towards. She said she was simply grateful to finally have a business of her own.

The entrepreneur said building a business has not always been easy, noting that mistakes and challenges have taught her important lessons.
