KRG teases Arrow Bwoy for ignoring his advice during Vurugu 2 fight
Kenyan dancehall artiste and entrepreneur KRG The Don has once again reacted to Arrow Bwoy’s Vurugu 2 boxing defeat, this time teasing the singer over his performance in the ring.
Speaking through his Instagram page on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, KRG jokingly made fun of Arrow Bwoy for holding back during the fight instead of throwing punches at his opponent.
His light-hearted remarks come just days after Arrow Bwoy suffered a technical knockout defeat against Ugandan socialite Shakib Cham in one of the headline fights at Vurugu 2, held at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi.
KRG makes fun at Arrow Bwoy
While revisiting the boxing match, KRG said he repeatedly advised Arrow Bwoy to throw punches, but claimed the singer chose not to follow his instructions.
According to KRG, boxing is about attacking when the opportunity comes, not holding back.
“I kept telling you to throw your punches, but you were doing your own thing. Why were you saving your right hand? Punches are meant for your opponent, so why were you keeping them to yourself?” he joked.

He continued by teasing Arrow Bwoy over how he reacted during the fight, saying he appeared to move towards the punches instead of avoiding them. “I was telling you to wake up, but you were busy saying your own things. Instead of moving away from the punches, you were moving your head closer to them,” he said.
Looking ahead to another fight
Despite the jokes, KRG suggested that Arrow Bwoy should learn from the experience if he ever steps back into the boxing ring.
He said he would once again be ready to guide him, urging the singer to trust his advice next time. “Next time we go back for another fight, just listen to what I’m telling you. If I say throw a punch, just throw it,” KRG added.

His comments were made in a playful tone and have since amused many fans online, with social media users sharing clips of the exchange.
KRG previously defended Arrow Bwoy
Although he is now making jokes about the fight, KRG had earlier stood firmly behind Arrow Bwoy immediately after the Vurugu 2 event.
Following the technical knockout loss, he shared a message encouraging the singer and insisted that defeat inside the ring did not define him. “Champions live forever. My winner remains Arrow Bwoy,” KRG wrote.

Arrow Bwoy’s fight against Shakib was among the most anticipated contests at Vurugu 2, attracting significant attention before fight night. When the contest began, Shakib took control early and maintained the pressure, leading the referee to stop the fight after a dominant display.
Despite the defeat, Arrow Bwoy has continued to receive support from friends and fans, with KRG choosing to mix encouragement with humour as conversations about the Vurugu 2 contest continue online.
