Kendi slams Andrew Kibe over remarks about Stevo Simple Boy’s child
Musician Kendi has strongly criticised content creator Andrew Kibe over remarks that Stevo Simple Boy should not have children.
In a series of posts on Instagram on Saturday, June 27, 2026, she described the comments as hurtful and questioned why a child had been brought into the discussion.
“This is the most ridiculous, hateful, saddest, sadistic and heartless thing I’ve had someone say abt another human and their innocent child. But y’all should know God, karma and the universe has a way a way of punishing such pple and may their punishment be,” Kendi said.
She said she could not understand why anyone would make such remarks. Kendi also questioned Kibe’s attitude and criticised comedian Dr Ofweneke for laughing during the discussion.

“Forgive my typos in the previous post, Kibe ako tu na roho mbaya automatically ama what went wrong with him that he feels he can say such things? Ajochoke kuwa cancelled?” Kendi said.

Kendi continued to express her disappointment over the remarks. She said she did not find the situation funny and warned that people should be careful about the words they use against others.
“Also @dr ofweneke is so wrong for laughing coz what funny? Kibeandy, one day you will be dealt with and when that time comes.don’t ask why you? Remember these are some of the reasons. @stevosimpleboyd God and Kenyans are on ur side wachana na hawa,” Kendi said.
Her remarks came after Andrew Kibe recently argued that people like Stevo Simple Boy should not have children. The comments sparked reactions after they included Stevo’s family and child.

Stevo addressed the matter through his Instagram page on Friday, June 26, 2026. He defended his family and criticised the inclusion of his child in the discussion.
The rapper said disagreements should remain between adults. He also maintained that children should never be targeted because of their parents or their physical appearance.
The remarks quickly attracted attention online, with some social media users criticising the comments and arguing that children should not be brought into personal opinions about public figures. Others defended Stevo, pointing out that parenthood is a personal decision and that children should be treated with dignity regardless of their background
