‘God did’: Kenyan lady who prayed for a job at Rhema Feast 2025 reveals she is now employed

A Kenyan woman has recalled attending Rhema Feast in 2025 while praying for a job before returning a year later with a testimony that she had finally found employment.
The woman, who uses the TikTok handle @Imani, shared the emotional reflection in a video posted on Saturday, September 5, 2026, recounting how she attended the Christian gathering the previous year with a specific desire in her heart.
Imani revealed that she had gone to Rhema Feast 2025 while praying for an opportunity to secure employment, a desire she said had since been fulfilled.
“I attended Rhema Feast 2025 and prayed for a job. 2026, at work, just grateful,” she wrote.
Her short reflection carried a message of gratitude as she looked back at the prayer she had made during the previous edition of the gathering and connected it to her circumstances in 2026.
Imani also extended a prayer to other people who may be waiting for their own breakthroughs, asking that their desires would similarly be fulfilled.
“May heaven grant your desires,” she wrote.
The post quickly opened the door for other Kenyans to share their own experiences, with one woman recounting an emotional journey that she said had also changed dramatically between the 2025 and 2026 editions of Rhema Feast.
The woman, identified as Maria, revealed that she had watched Rhema Feast the previous year while in hospital as her mother underwent chemotherapy and while she herself was without a job.
“Same here. I remember watching last year in the hospital for my mum’s chemotherapy, without a job, then attended the last day, and today my mum was told her results are good,” Maria wrote.
Maria said her mother had subsequently received encouraging medical results and had been declared cancer-free, adding that her own circumstances had also changed significantly.
“She has been declared cancer-free. Now I am working a very good job which gave me free accommodation and more benefits,” she wrote.
The changes, according to Maria, extended beyond employment and accommodation, with her testimony also touching on the material improvements she had experienced since the previous year.
She recalled that she had previously been using a bad phone but was now able to use a Samsung Note 20 Ultra, presenting the change as another indication of how dramatically her circumstances had shifted.
“I had a bad phone, now I am using a Note 20 Ultra. Eeeiii, this God can be trusted,” Maria wrote, accompanying the testimony with prayer emojis.
Rhema Feast 2026
The five-day gathering brought together thousands of Christians for preaching, worship, prayer and teaching, with prominent local and international ministers taking turns on the stage throughout the event. The programme was convened by Reverend Julian Kyula, the founder and Senior Pastor of Ruach Assemblies.
The 2026 edition featured a wide range of ministers and worship leaders, including Nigerian preacher Apostle Joshua Selman, Apostle Michael Orokpo, Apostle Grace Lubega, Bishop J.B. Masinde, Lady Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo, Lady Bishop Kathy Kiuna, Pastor Poju Oyemade, Pastor David Ogbueli, Minister Sinach, Minister Dunsin Oyekan, Dr Tumi and Ntokozo Mbambo.
The gathering was built around the theme “Come, Let Us Rebuild”, drawn from Nehemiah 2:17, with organisers presenting the 2026 edition as a period of spiritual renewal, restoration and rebuilding.
The final day on Friday, September 4 featured a major line-up of ministers before the gathering transitioned into a night Kesha. President William Ruto and First Lady Rachael Ruto also attended the grand finale, with Ruto addressing the thousands gathered at Uhuru Park and speaking about the faith he had witnessed among Kenya’s young people.
The event eventually reached a dramatic climax when Ruto, Rachael Ruto, Reverend Julian Kyula and Apostle Joshua Selman joined hands to lead worshippers in singing the national anthem before fireworks illuminated Uhuru Park. The fireworks marked the close of the formal ministry sessions, although the night continued with the Kesha.
