Geoffrey Mosiria hits out at Andrew Kibe over recent demeaning remarks
Nairobi County Chief Officer Geoffrey Mosiria has slammed back at media personality Andrew Kibe over his remarks about rapper Stevo Simple Boy and his family.
Mosiria addressed the matter in a video shared on his Instagram page on Sunday, July 5, 2026, saying Kibe should focus on his own life before making comments about other people’s families.
The county official said Kibe should first settle down and raise a family before speaking negatively about Stevo, especially after the rapper raised concerns about his child being mentioned in the online exchange.
“Andrew Kibe should first get married and show us his children. He should also shave his beard because people say hair reflects wisdom, yet his large beard seems to have affected his thinking,” Mosiria said.

Mosiria says Kibe should stop attacking Stevo
Mosiria further argued that Kibe had no reason to apologise to Stevo if he continued making remarks that the rapper found offensive.
He said criticism should not be used to demean people or drag their family members into public conversations.
“There is no need for Andrew to apologise to Stevo Simple Boy if he continues speaking badly about him,” Mosiria added.
Stevo Simple Boy defends his child
His comments came after Stevo publicly responded to Kibe, asking him to keep their differences between them and leave his child out of the discussion. The rapper said he was disturbed by remarks that involved his child, stressing that children should not be mocked or judged because of their parents.
Stevo explained that he had worked hard to build a decent life and take care of his family, despite challenges he has faced in the past. “Andrew Kibe, if you have a problem with me, speak about me. But do not involve my child, who has done nothing wrong,” Stevo said.

He noted that his child should not be subjected to public criticism because of issues involving adults.
‘Every child deserves respect’
The musician also reminded social media users that every child deserves dignity and should not be judged by their looks or family background.
He said he had no control over the circumstances of his birth but had chosen to work hard, live respectfully and provide for his loved ones.
“I did not choose how I was born, but I chose to be a respectable person, work hard and build a family. All children are blessings, and no child deserves to be looked down on because of their appearance or parents,” he said.

Stevo concluded by saying he would continue focusing on his life and family, leaving judgement to God. “I will keep moving forward. God is the judge of everyone,” he said.
The exchange has drawn mixed reactions online, with some users supporting Stevo’s call for children to be kept out of adult disputes, while others urged public figures to handle disagreements without personal attacks.
