Tanzanian Bongo Flava star Diamond Platnumz’s daughter, Princess Tiffah Dangote, has marked her birthday with a lavish celebration featuring an elegant black-and-white theme, elaborate decorations and a gathering of close family members and friends.

The young celebrity celebrated her special day on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at an event that was transformed with huge balloons and carefully arranged tables, creating an atmosphere that resembled a lavish wedding celebration.

The venue was decorated in black and white, with large balloons adding a striking backdrop to the festivities, while tables were neatly laid with white plates and matching napkins.

The celebration brought together artistes close to the family alongside relatives, keeping the gathering largely intimate despite the grandeur of the occasion.

Tiffah also showed off her dance skills during the celebrations, entertaining those in attendance with confident dance moves as she enjoyed the moment with her loved ones.

Her younger brother, Prince Nillan, was also present at the celebration and took the opportunity to express his affection for his sister, adding to the family-centred nature of the occasion.

Diamond’s birthday message

However, Diamond Platnumz was not physically present at the celebration, with the singer instead joining the festivities through a video call.

Speaking to Tiffah during the call, the musician told his daughter that he loved her deeply and had gone to considerable lengths to make her birthday special.

Diamond said he had spent a significant amount of money in preparation for the celebration, including purchasing presents and making arrangements to travel to be with her.

“I am telling her that I love her so much. I have spent so much money today just to allow her to celebrate the party and to be with her today. I spent a lot,” he said.

He also revealed that he had taken a private jet as part of his plans to attend the occasion, although he ultimately could not make the trip.

The singer said he was disappointed to miss the celebration in person and told his daughter that he missed her.

“I took a jet, I bought presents, and I wanted to come and make the day special for her, but now I think I cannot travel. I just miss her,” he added.

Diamond went on to pray that Tiffah would continue growing into a brilliant, intelligent and disciplined young woman.

He also spoke about his confidence in his daughter’s future, describing her as smart, cute and someone he believed could achieve her goals.

The musician jokingly predicted an ambitious political future for his daughter, declaring that he sees her as his “next South African president”.

“I am praying that she will continue to be a brilliant, smart and disciplined daughter. She is my next South African president because I trust her so much. She is the best, and she is smart and cute, and I love her so much. I cannot wait to see her achieving her goals,” he said.

Diamond’s first daughter

Princess Tiffah Dangote is the first daughter of Diamond Platnumz and Ugandan businesswoman and socialite Zari Hassan.

She was born on August 6, 2015, making her one of the most recognisable celebrity children in East Africa.

Tiffah has grown up in the public eye, frequently featuring in her parents’ social media posts and attracting a substantial following of her own.

She and her younger brother, Prince Nillan, have primarily lived with their mother in South Africa following the separation of their parents.

Despite living in South Africa, Tiffah maintains a close relationship with her father, who has continued to visit his children and spend time with them despite their different home bases.

Diamond has previously spoken highly of his first-born daughter, including describing her as an important figure in the future of his family and business empire.
