Captain Sammir refutes claims he leaked Hanna Benta’s private photos amid calls for his arrest

TikToker Captain Sammir has strongly dismissed claims that he leaked private photos of his ex-partner, Hanna Benta, following online calls by fellow TikTokers demanding his arrest.
Speaking in a TikTok live on Sunday, January 4, 2026, the USA-based content creator questioned the basis of the claims, insisting he had no involvement whatsoever in the circulation of any private images linked to his former partner.
“The first thing I am asking myself is, where exactly has she been exposed, as people are claiming?” Sammir asked.
He explained that the photos in question were shared privately between Hanna Benta and another TikToker, Bosskhan, and maintained that any private exchanges between them did not concern him.
Sammir emphasised that he no longer has any relationship with Hanna Benta and therefore could not be responsible for content shared within her personal circles.
“The photos being mentioned were shared privately between Hanna and Bosskhan. Photos that people share among themselves do not involve me. If Hanna chose to share her private photos with anyone on WhatsApp, that is her personal decision and none of my business. I have no relationship with her,” he said.

Sammir revealed that he was travelling with his new in-laws at the time the controversy erupted and only learned of the situation through online chatter accusing him of exposing Hanna Benta.
He described the experience as deeply unsettling, especially given that he had just come off an emotionally intense period in the United States and was now trying to settle into married life.
“At the moment, I am with my new in-laws, and we are travelling to Nairobi, and then all of a sudden I start hearing claims that I should be arrested, that I exposed Hanna. That is not something I can do. Even if I were bewitched, I could not do that. I have just come from dealing with very serious issues in the US, and now I return only to find more trouble. I cannot be part of that,” he said.
He further challenged Bosskhan to publicly disclose the source of the images, arguing that identifying the individual responsible would be straightforward since phone numbers are registered.
According to Sammir, doing so would immediately clear his name and redirect accountability to the rightful party.
“Bosskhan should come out on TikTok and clearly state whose contact sent him Hanna’s private photos and expose that person. It is easy to identify because phone numbers are registered,” he said.
The TikToker stressed that he would never leak private images under any circumstances, adding that even emotional distress or provocation could not drive him to such actions.
He maintained that he is currently in a happy place following his marriage and questioned why the narrative continued to revolve around his past relationship.
“I am newly married and a very happy man, but people are trying to make everything about Hanna Benta and Bosskhan,” Sammir said.
Wedding controversy
The ceremony took place barely a week after Hanna Benta welcomed a newborn baby, widely believed online to be Sammir’s child, a development that intensified public scrutiny and speculation.
The wedding, attended by close family members and the local Meru community, was shared widely on TikTok, with Sammir seen walking Gilo down the aisle as traditional songs filled the church.
The couple later held a reception where Gilo went live, showing joyous moments from their celebration.
