TikToker Hanna Benta announces pregnancy

Captain Sammir’s ex-lover, TikToker Hanna Benta, is pregnant.
Hanna, who is one of the most followed Kenyans on TikTok, made the announcement in a heartfelt post on Instagram on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

She shared charming photos of herself in a white gown with her baby bump proudly exposed, expressing how thrilled she was about the journey of becoming a mother.
“I am a mommy,” she wrote, accompanied by love and baby emojis.
Hanna further posted another video of herself in a black dress, where she sang about her motherhood journey being a secret.
She placed her hand tenderly on her blossoming belly and described the experience as a true blessing.
“Counting my blessings,” she captioned the video.
Pregnancy rumours
The revelation comes as a surprise to her thousands of fans, given that she had recently taken a pregnancy test during Oga Obinna’s live interview, confirming that she was not expecting.
At that time, she lashed out angrily at those spreading claims that she was pregnant, insisting she had taken the test to silence the rumours.
“Here is the test, I want you to see it for yourselves. Do not say that I am pregnant. The line is one, meaning I am not pregnant,” she said.
Speculation that Hanna might be expecting had started shortly after her dramatic breakup with Captain Sammir, an episode that saw the pair wash their dirty linen in public.
While hurling accusations at each other over the reasons behind their split, Hanna had warned Captain Sammir against harbouring any hopes that even if she turned out to be pregnant, she would acknowledge him as the father.
“You think you can bring me down because of age. You have no respect. What pregnancy of yours? I do not have a pregnancy. Who did you give a pregnancy to? You should know that the pregnancy I have is not yours. You are like a small girl,” Hanna retorted.
On his part, an enraged Captain Sammir fired back, insisting she should stop denying the pregnancy was his, because once the baby arrived, it would be clear who the father was.
During the spat, Sammir, who is based in the USA, also ridiculed Hanna over her age, alleging that she was old and desperately trying to capture his attention for marriage.
“Even if you are old, you are still carrying my pregnancy. That pregnancy you are carrying is mine. When you give birth to the child, then we shall see whose it is. Like it or not, the pregnancy is mine,” Sammir declared.
