Vera Sidika defends Betty Kyallo amid criticism for dating young lover

Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has come to the defence of media personality Betty Kyallo amidst amounting criticism for dating a younger man.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Sidika expressed her frustration with the harsh judgment from netizens who keep pointing out the age gap between Betty and her lover.

“Give Betty a break!!! When she dated older men y’all were busy saying shame on her For messing with wababa and married men. Now dating a young guy it’s a problem Eeeeh human beings Let a girl be happy,” Sidika wrote.

This comes a day after Betty hard launched her lover gashing over him on his birthday.

In lovely photos on her Insta stories, the TV host revealed that she was ready to sire more kids by the young lad who has been identified as Charlie Jones.

“Happy birthday, baby.More laughs, more happiness, more hugs, more babies, more us. This is it.”

Adding;

“God sent me the right one. All of you guys can be angry,” she wrote.

In a recent interview on PlugTV’s YouTube channel, Betty Kyallo addressed the criticism surrounding her romantic life.

The lovestruck mother of one clarified that she is not concealing her boyfriend from the public and dispelled rumours that she is dating a significantly younger man.

The mother of one revealed that she has been in a relationship with her current boyfriend for around eight months.

“I found somebody and tumeelewana.I don’t want to say so much coz kuna maa bad eyes huko nje wako ‘ohh ehh’ watu wanakuongelea vibaya lakini Mungu ametuprotect. Tumekuwa Pamoja almost eight months now,” she explained

Betty explained that her lover values his privacy since he is not a public figure like herself.

“You see mimi I am the one who is in the public eye, him is not. Na you know things happened when they happen, na unajua watu wametuona uko nje hakuna kitu tunaficha. Just because I have not posted him haimaanishi namficha. We go everywhere, we go to restaurants, we go for holidays, we go for shopping in the supermarkets like a normal couple,” Betty Kyallo stated.

She emphasized that there is no special effort to hide her boyfriend and that they live a normal life together.

“So there is nothing special about ati wacha nimlaunch, ahh ikifanyika itafanyika lakini hakuna kumficha we are just living a normal life, normal family we go out with Ivanna on Sundays or the weekends, like tuko tu sawa,” she elaborated.

Regarding her boyfriend’s age, Betty Kyallo dismissed claims that he is only 21 years old. “Ata akiwa 21 si underage lakini si 21, no. Let’s not go deeper,” she commented.

When asked about the possibility of settling down with her younger partner, the 35-year-old media personality expressed a desire to enjoy her relationship before considering marriage again.

“Si tuko sawa for now. Hio story ya harusi inapatianga watu pressure, wee wacha tu nipendwe pole pole. Acha tu nikue taken care of by somebody’s son,” she said.

Betty also mentioned that she is deeply in love and has even improved her cooking skills for her boyfriend’s benefit.

“You are cooking for him?” the interviewer asked. “Actually let me tell you I never used to like to cook lakini najipatanga tu hapo kitchen maze nko hapo tu Instagram naangalia malessons hahahahaha,” she said.
