She noted that the arrangements were carefully structured to accommodate the large number of mourners expected to attend.
“We have planned all things about how we will lay her to rest, and we will all go to the stadium for the burial. That is where we will have the burial service, and that is the same place where people who will attend the burial will eat from,” Shiru said.
Shiru explained that all attendees will gather at the Ndumberi stadium for the main service, and food will be served from the same venue before close family and friends proceed to the final resting place for the interment.
She further revealed that the body will be retrieved from the Kenyatta University Referral Mortuary ahead of the burial, which is scheduled for Thursday next week.
“From there, family and close friends will proceed to bury the body at Mugumo, Kirigiti Road near Kamiti Corner. That is where she will be buried, but all people will be at the stadium. The body will be retrieved from the KU Referral Mortuary, and the burial is on Thursday next week. The memorial and candle lighting will be on Sunday,” she revealed.

Wednesday, November 13, 2025, officially marked day three of the ongoing burial meetings, where family members, fellow artistes, and friends are continuing to make arrangements for the late gospel singer’s send-off.
Untimely passing

She had been battling acute leukaemia and excessive bleeding that worsened over the weekend.
The artiste was first admitted to AAR Hospital on Kiambu Road, where doctors began emergency treatment before she was transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital on Friday, November 7, 2025, after her condition deteriorated.
Despite efforts by medics to stabilise her, she succumbed to the illness.
The family, in a statement shortly after her demise, revealed that they had accepted her passing as the will of God.
