Obidan Dela invites TikTokers to Betty Bayo candlelight service at Kanyari’s church
TikToker Obidan Dela has invited all TikTokers and Kenyans of goodwill to converge at Salvation Healing Ministry for a candle lighting session for the late Betty Bayo, the baby mama of Pastor Victor Kanyari.
Speaking on TikTok on Thursday, November 14, 2025, Obidan, while seated just centimetres from the emotionally overwhelmed Victor Kanyari, stated that the event is meant to celebrate Betty Bayo’s life and offer a moment of reflection and unity for her fans and the TikTok community.

Obidan urged all attendees to come with hearts full of love and respect.
He said, “Tunasema kwanza pole kwa kupoteza mama ya watoto wako, tunakupenda sana. Tunatuma rambi rambi zetu kama familia ya TikTokers.
“And guys, tunawakaribisha on Monday from 2pm. Tuko na candle lighting ya all TikTokers. Kanisa iko located hapa Kayole junction.
“Tuko na mazishi ya Betty Bayo, atapumzishwa next week, date 20 side za Kiambu. Asante sana kwa kusupport our prophet Kanyari.”
During the session, Pastor Victor Kanyari opened up about his bond with his children, sharing on Facebook how he intends to step fully into the fatherly role after Betty Bayo’s passing.

“I have the best bond with my kids. I value them and even do more than expected of me. I know a man is to err, but I promise to be the best dad ever to my kids.
“I must be a role model they can all emulate. I’m always ready to sacrifice my whole for them, and that’s what I’m gonna do forever.
“I promise to fill that gap their mother left. And I also urge all men out here to try and follow my footsteps as a dad; parting ways with their mother shouldn’t be a reason to bring any hatred to the kids,” Kanyari said.
The candle lighting will bring together TikTok creators, fans, and well-wishers to honour Betty Bayo’s memory.
