“Nadia wa kwanza, Khaligraph… sana sana Nadia. Tukifanya kitu huwa inatokea tu kali. Hata kuna zingine hazijatoka, kali zote! Alafu tuna ka-smart, tukifanya kitu inatokea,” he said.
Masauti went on to explain that their musical connection is effortless and natural, crediting their shared passion for excellence as the reason behind their successful collaborations.
He also highlighted the role of top producers such as Kailo and Motif, who have contributed to shaping his sound and ensuring the quality of his music remains consistent.
“Kuna producer anaitwa Kailo, lakini tukifanya kitu kinatokea kitu kizuri, pia Motif na wengine. Napenda kufanya kazi na watu tofauti,” he shared.
Masauti noted that he enjoys working with various artists and producers across different styles and genres, emphasizing that collaboration is key to artistic growth.

Masauti on being lazy
This comes a few weeks after Masauti responded to claims that his absence from the music scene and failure to release hits consistently meant he had quit music or lacked seriousness in his craft.
Speaking during an interview with a local radio station on Thursday, September 18, 2025, Masauti revealed that rapper Khaligraph Jones had recently acknowledged his talent but also expressed concern over his failure to release songs consistently.
He confirmed that the observations were accurate but strongly rejected the notion that he was lazy.
“Yes, it is true I saw that Khaligraph also said he sees that I have talent, but he wonders why I do not release songs constantly. Truly, he said, I have talent, but I am lazy. But on that, you know everyone has their own pace in life,” he said.
According to him, every artiste moves at their own pace, and he has been navigating personal challenges that slowed him down.
“The way he is moving with his life is not the same as how I am moving with mine, and I also have my own plans and there were things I was doing until people thought that I was going slowly. I truly admitted that I was not consistent on social media, that is true, but I cannot call it laziness as you call it,” he added.
