Juma Jux and Priscilla reveal they are having a baby boy
Veteran Tanzanian musician Juma Mkambala, alias Juma Jux, and his wife, Nigerian influencer Priscillia Ojo, have announced that they are expecting a baby boy.
The couple who tied the knot a few months ago hosted a colourful gender reveal party on Thursday, August 21, 2025, with friends, family and fellow celebrities in attendance.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Jux posted a snippet of the event, in the heartfelt moment, he said that he was expecting a baby girl, while Priscilla said she is hoping for a baby boy.
The tension ended after they popped the smoke bomb canisters, filling the air with blue smoke, confirming the gender of their unborn baby. The couple then embraced each other with joy.
Pregnancy announcement
The gender reveal came less than a month after the couple confirmed they are expecting their first child, sharing the joyous news on Instagram with stunning baby bump photos.
In a joint post, shared on Thursday, July 24, 2025, Priscilla posed confidently in a tasteful maternity shoot, with Jux by her side. and they also shared an ultrasound photo with a touchy caption revealing that they are expecting a baby.
“MOM & DAD 🤍✨ BLESSED • GRATEFUL • THANKFUL,” the couple announced.
Love story
Their love story began at a Rwandan airport when Juma Jux missed his flight and ended up near the business class lounge, right where Priscillia was seated. She laughed at his frustration, and something clicked immediately.
“The first day I saw Priscilla in Rwanda, I missed my flight and could not get a business-class seat because it was completely. I was pissed off, and after passing through the business class section, I saw her laughing at me,” Jux disclosed in a previous interview.
On Friday night, June 20, 2025, during an interview with a local media station, Jux opened up about the powerful and almost instantaneous connection that led him to marry Priscillia Ojo after just days of courtship.
He described his reaction upon first seeing Priscillia as just a natural feeling and completely unexplainable.
“It is just something natural that I cannot explain; it is the feeling that I cannot explain.
